A 21-year-old woman from Kütahya, who participated in the 'eating the most garbage skewers' contest organized by a restaurant in Denizli, broke a record by eating 255 garbage skewers in 37 minutes and won the prize money of 26 thousand 550 TL.
Two business partners, Mehmet and Yusuf Kaya, who started a garbage skewer competition in a restaurant in Denizli 6 years ago, started to host many citizens with a live broadcast on social media.
Competitors who came to the facility from different provinces and competed fiercely tried to receive the prize money in accordance with certain conditions. Feyza Dursun, weighing 58 kilos, who was impressed by the live broadcasts she watched and wanted to participate in the competition, came to Denizli from Kütahya.
HE BROKE A RECORD, EARNED 26 THOUSAND 550 TL
Competing here, 21-year-old Dursun won 26 thousand 550 TL by eating 255 garbage skewers, 1 lavash, 3 ayran and 1 salad in 37 minutes.
Dursun, who broke the previous contestant's record of 247 stick skewers, received his money in the live broadcast, which everyone watched in amazement.
"ONE REASON FOR DROPING TO 58 KG WAS TO COME HERE"
Stating that he dropped from 150 kilos to 58 kilos before, Dursun said, “I had already been following the organizers of this competition on their social media accounts for 2 to 3 years. I told my wife I don't want to go on my honeymoon, take her to eat shish kebab and I came here. I earned 26 thousand 550 TL by eating 255 garbage skewers, 1 lavash, 3 ayran and 1 salad. I'm so happy I won. One of the reasons why I dropped to 58 kilos when I got married was to come here. "My goal was to earn 26 thousand 500 TL," he said.
